Please read this carefully so that you fully understand the terms of the hire:
Hire Agreement and disclaimer for Inflatable equipment
Disclaimer: Any persons/organisation hiring our inflatables are responsible/liable for any damage or injuries occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. Persons using the inflatables do so at their own risk.
These guidelines are for the safety of all persons using the inflatable,and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Our company cannot accept responsibility for any damage or injury to persons or property from using the equipment however caused.
Insurance: Galway Bouncy castles & cars holds Public Liability Insurance which indemnifies the company and not the hirer, Galway Bouncy castles & cars will not accept responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment, however caused. Galway Bouncy castles & cars only covers injuries caused by an equipment failure or malfunction, It does not cover persons or the hirer for accidents on the unit, Improper use or boisterous behaviour.
Adult supervision is required at all times, Our terms and conditions must be signed prior to hire, additional personal liability cover can be arranged through your own insurer, A copy of our Insurance details can be emailed or forwarded to the hirer at their request.
Galway Bouncy castles & cars agree to hire equipment to the hirer under the following safety instructions and terms and conditions being agreed to only , The following safety instructions must be signed on delivery of your equipment the delivery person will present the same terms to you, if for any reason you are unable to sign the document, these terms and conditions of hire still stand and are valid.
For your information, Safety and enjoyment the following conditions must be adhered to :
1.Each inflatable has an age limit of 14 years unless otherwise specified, Please ensure that no one over this age uses the inflatable especially adults. This is due to safety, manufacturing and insurance reasons.
2. A responsible adult must supervise children at all times whilst on the inflatable, Never leave the inflatable unattended.
3.Do not allow anyone on the inflatable whilst inflating/deflating, This is dangerous and could cause suffocation.
4.Children are not allowed to climb, sit or hang on the inflatable walls.
5. Do not allow children to bounce on the front safety step as it is unsafe to do so, The safety step is to assist users to get on and off safely
6.Ensure the inflatable is never overcrowded, Limit the number of users to allow enough room for each child to play safely, Try to avoid small and large children using the inflatable at the same time.
7. All shoes, badges, jewellery, watches and spectacles must be removed.
8. No food or drinks to be consumed whilst on the inflatable to avoid mess and the possibility of choking, Please note: If the inflatable is collected in a dirty condition,you, the hirer will be responsible for the cleaning charge.
9. Please ensure there is an adequate safety parameter, clear of any obstructions around the inflatable at all times.
10. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string allowed on or near the inflatables as they cause a real mess and can also stain the inflatable for which you will be liable for for payment for clean up or repair.
11. No smoking, fires or barbecues to be used near the inflatables.
12. No pets to be allowed near the inflatables whether inflated or not.
13. It is advisable to ensure that no one with any history of back or neck problems use the inflatable as indeed anyone who is feeling unwell, Pregnant women should not use the equipment.
14. Persons under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicant should not use the equipment.
15. In the event of heavy rain it is paramount the inflatable is switched off and deflated for safety reasons and a cover placed over the blower, When it is safe to reuse, remove the cover from the blower, check the electrics are dry, switch back on and towel dry any wet areas before allowing any children back on it, In the event of high winds ( above 25mph) the inflatable must not be used and unplugged immediately. It is dangerous to operate inflatable equipment in poor weather conditions, as we cant take any responsibility for weather conditions it is the responsibility of you the person(s) hiring the equipment to ensure that the users and the equipment itself are safe at all times.
16. Water fights are great fun but do not spray water near the electrical equipment ie the blower or leads and plugs, or on the inflatable instead, especially no fairy liquid or other slippery fluids to be allowed on the inflatable, If evidence of this is found on collection there will be a standard €50 cleaning charge applied to your account.
17. Occasionally check that the inflatable is still securely pegged down and blower tube is properly connected and all leads and mats are in the place our installers left them especially after a windy or blustery period.
18. Never unplug the blower whilst the inflatable is in use, Children should not be allowed to operate the inflatable at any stage. Using electricity can be dangerous and children should never be allowed near or interfere with electrical components, as they could potentially provide an electrical shock hazard. The power point must be kept safe and dry from children at all times.
19.If the inflatable fails for any reason evacuate immediately to prevent injury and contact us , The blower or extension cable may have an rcd fitted ( safety device) and will have a reset button, try this first before you contact us as they can trip very easily just as a house fuse may trip, check fuses and make sure the blower and deflation tube are still attached as they could have come apart. In the event of the blower overheating switch off at the mains for 5/10 minutes and try again, When using extension cables please ensure the cable is fully rolled out and none left on the reel or bunched up before plugging in the blower. NEVER plug more than one blower into a single extension or daisy chain with other extension cables as all our blowers require a single power supply each.
20. The inflatable should not be moved from its installation position or interfered with under any circumstances.
